Source: Ron Heisler, Great Great Grandson, Calgary Canada & Robert Thomas from verbal discussion with his mother a Joseph Heisler visited her father, Rochus Heisler in the 1930's and was told Rochus and Joseph were cousins. Therefore, their fathers are brothers (Joseph Sr. & Nickolas). Based on the birth dates of Joseph Sr. (1837) & Nickolas (1845) their father would have been born in the early 1800's.
