Adelaide (Ida) worked in the Red and White Store for several years and recalls the prices as they were in the late 20's and 30's - coffee - twenty-five cents per pound in bulk; butter - ten cents a pound; eggs - five cents a dozen; bologna - fifteen cents a pound; bread - five cents a loaf and sardines - eight for twenty-five cents. But then too, wages during the depression were five dollars a month and at one time government paid farmers eight dollars a month to keep a man just to pay for his room and board. She married Frank Bullinger and they lived on Dad's farm for four years and moved to British Columbia in 1936. They have five children: Marie (Mrs. Larry Dresher), Francis, Rita (Mrs. Roger Kronquist), Linda (Mrs. John Gallagher) and Sandra (Mrs. Dan McQuade).

I, Andrew, worked with my father and in 1922 married Rosa Moldenhauer. I was a member of the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool for fifty years. We lived in my father's house (which was located south of the tracks), for seven years. The house was later destroyed by fire. We moved to our farm in 1929, NW 12-34-29-W2nd where we had renovated a building which was to be our home for many years. We had thirteen children. JOHN, after completing his education, worked in Eston as an accountant and book-keeper with a law firm. Ill health made it necessary for him to move to Saskatoon. After regaining his health he opened up his business under the name of Allan Agencies. As a point of interest he was agent for Wawanesa Insurance which was in the family for three generations. His office was originally the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aloysius Senger. He passed away in 1976. EMIL passed away in 1924. ISIDORE remained on the farm, taking it over in 1964 and still farms it to this date. He lived in the original house until 1976 at which time he built a new home. ROSA passed away in 1929. RAYMOND completed his education and taught school at Favorite and Lyndherst Schools south of Young, Saskatchewan. He remembers being paid one hundred dollars a month salary. He later graduated as a Psychiatric Nurse and practised at North Battleford, Saskatchewan and Edmonton, Alberta. He later returned to work for Isidore on the farm. He started playing in orchestras with John and Isidore at thirteen years and still does periodically. He married Frances Deichert in 1953, they had three children - Kenneth, Jacqueline, and Alvin. With the birth of Kenneth, four generations were realized, all of them male. BENNY passed away in 1932.
