RISSLING _ Annie (Ripplinger) aged 92 years, of Kendal, Sask., went peacefully to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, in Indian Head Union Hospital with her family by her side. The funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Kendal, Sask., on Monday, April 23, 2007 at 10:30 a.m., by the Rev. John Mock. Interment in the parish cemetery. Predeceased by her husband in Aug. 1988, daughter, Marion Lepine, June 2000, grandson, Kevin Rissling, Nov 2006, great granddaughter, Savanna Meyer-Scott May, 2006. Annie is survived by her sons, Leo (Eileen) Rissling; Garry (Donna) Rissling; Brian (Dolly) Rissling; her daughters, Jenny (John)_North and Sandy (Garry) Vandale, thirty-four grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, brother, August (Aliza) Ripplinger and sister, Clara Rink, and sister-in-law, Betty (Peter) Ripplinger. Annie grew up and lived in Kendal all of her life. Married Alex Rissling on Jan 25,! 1932 and raised six children. Annie worked at Silver Hills School, Kendal, Sask., from 1954 to 1971. She was a member of the War Service Club, St. Ignatius Altar Society, CWL and the Hi Neighbour Seniors. Annie lived alone in Kendal where she kept herself busy baking, cooking, quilting, playing the organ, and loved her garden. Her family meant the world to her and she was always preparing for their visits. She was a loving woman to the end, full of strength and faith, generous, unselfish, courageous, ambitious, unique, wise patient and she loved unconditionally.
