DEVILS LAKE – Bernard Phillip Bachmeier, 74, Devils Lake, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007, in a Grand Forks hospital. He was born July 13, 1933, to Jack and Katherine Bachmeier near Crary. He married Elizabeth Leiphon June 10, 1957, near Crary. Survivors: wife; daughters, Bernadette Chapman, Tacoma, Wash., Beverly Dalziel, Devils Lake; sons, Daryl and Dean, both Fargo; 16 grandchildren; brothers, Anton and Wendelyn, both Devils Lake, Ralph, St. Paul, Minn., Leonard, Forest Lake, Minn.; sisters, Mary Volk, Katherine Schiele, both Devils Lake, Evelyn Hager, Oakdale, Minn.
