Baillie's Drug Store History:- Started in Barton in 1906 by Pharmacist Fred Baillie. He moved the store to Rugby in 1924. He was joined in business by his pharmacist son, Dan, in 1935. His son, Pharmacist Frederick Duane, joined the firm in 1954. Fred Sr. worked over 50 years as a pharmacist in his store. Fred Sr. died at the age of 87 in 1965. Dan & "Duane" (brothers), were partners until Dan died in 1976. "Duane" became sole owner of Baillie's Drug Store at that time, and sold the business in July 2000.
