Baumgartner, 60, of Strasburg, died Tuesday, Jan 7, 1997, in the Napoleon Care Center.Frank was born July 22, 1936, at Strasburg the son of Frank J. and Mary (Stach) Baumgartner. He attended a rural school at Strasburg and graduated from Emmons Central High School of Strasburg. He entered the U.S. Marine Corps on Sept. 10, 1958. After his discharge on Sept. 8, 1961, he worked in Detroit, MI. USA And OH. USA in a bearing factory. He returned to Strasburg and worked as a security Guard and at a laundry in Bismarck. In 1993 he entered a nursing home in Gackle and sometime later transferred to the Napoleon Care Center in Napoleon.Survivors include his mother, Mary Baumgartner of Strasburg; four brothers and five sisters-in-law, Frances Baumgartner of Bismarck, Herman and Athie Baumgartner of Bismarck, Alvin and Kathryn Baumgartner of fargo and Barbara Baumgartner of Strasburg; one stepbrother and stepsister-in law, Jake and Bessie Baumgartner of Rapid City, SD. and six sisters and five brothers-in-law, Angeline and Felix Miller of Bismarck, Adeline and Joe Duerscherl of St. Paul, MN, Isabelle and Duane Motzko of Fridley, MN and Lorraine and Walter Davidson, all of Bismarck, Virginia and John Westburg of Fargo, and Rose Mary Baumgarter of Milwaukee, WI. USAHe was preceded in death by his father, four brothers, Eugene, Clarence, Peter and Edward; one step-brother, Leo, and two sisters, Luella Baumgartner and Sister Mary Francene (Clara) Baumgartner, and one brother-in-law, Melvin Shea.
