Vianna June Dorscher, 68, Bismarck, passed away April 18, 2016, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. A memorial service will be held at noon Thursday, April 21, at St. Maryâs Catholic Church, Bismarck, with Monsignor Gene Lindemann officiating. Inurnment will be at St. Maryâs Cemetery, Bismarck. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today, with a rosary/vigil beginning at 7 p.m., at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan. Visitation continues one hour prior to the service at the church. Vianna was born April 22, 1947, to James and Viola (Sheldon) Crawford in Bismarck, where she was raised and educated. On April 22, 1968, she married Donald James Nelson, they later divorced. Over the years, she worked as a CNA for Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center and the Baptist Home. On Nov. 28, 1975, she married Joseph J. Dorscher. She worked with her husband at Dorscher Sand Blasting and continued operating the business after his death. Vianna also worked and volunteered tirelessly at St. Maryâs Church and School. She was a eucharistic minister at St. Maryâs, a member of the Red Hats Society and Quota Club. She also enjoyed making scarves for others and camping with her significant other, Teddy Unser, and longtime friends. She is survived by two daughters, Julie Folendorf, Bismarck, and Laurie Stevens, Washington, D.C.; two sons, Jason (Christie) Nelson, Palm Bay, Fla., and James Nelson, Bismarck; 13 grandchildren, Shawn Dorscher, Christopher Dorscher, Trevor Stevens, Becca Stevens, Nathan Nelson, Ashley Nelson, Blake Unser, Hailey Thomas, Paige Nelson, Shailee Folendorf, Preston Folendorf, Olivia Folendorf and Sam Malnourie; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Vianna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Dorscher; one son, Barry; and three sisters, Blanche Billigmeier, Grace Kackman and Arnetta Senger.
