Born Albert Jacob Hager, shortly after birth and the death of his mother (Katherine Gefroh), Albert was placed with the John & Anna ANHORN family. (Mrs. Anhorn was Albert's fathers, sister. Albert served in the U.S. Army during 1951-52. After his military service he married, worked at the "Harvey Meat Market", was a Standard Oil Bulk Agent and at time of death he was working as a car inspector for the Soo Line Railroad at Harvey, North Dakota. Albert was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Catholic Order of the Foresters, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), American Legion and was a member of the Harvey Volunteer Fire Department. Albert went by and was known as "Albert Anhorn" his entire adult life.
