John P. Horner, 81, Napoleon, died January 12, 2007, at the Napoleon Care Center. Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 16, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Napoleon. Burial was at St. Philip Neri Catholic Cemetery, Napoleon. John P. Horner was born April 8, 1925 to John and Olga (Horner) Horner. He grew up on the family farm in the Burnstad area. He graduated from Burnstad High School. He was a WWII veteran serving in the army from May1945 through September 1946. He married Julia Piatz on October 19, 1948 at rural St Anthony’s Catholic Church.
