Martin Jangula was born in McIntosh County Feb. 4, 1894, and married Mary Baumgartner at Strasburg in 1918. She died that same year and he married Katherine Bosch at Linton Dec. 27, 1918, at Linton. He was a retired farmer and had served on Emmonsburg Township board several years. In addition tohis widow he leaves four sons and two daughters; Frank, Larimore; Adam,Braddock; Joe, New Plymouth, Idaho; Bernard, Greeley, Col.; Mrs. Harry(Lena) Wolbaum, Braddock; and Mrs. John (Helen) Bosch, Steele. There are 25grandchildren and four great-grandchildren . He also leaves one brother,Peter Jangula, Linton. Mr. Jangula died Monday, morning, Feb. 1, in St.Alexius Hospital, Bismarck, whre he had been a patient two months. TheJangula funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Katherine CatholicChurch, Braddock, with the Rev. F.B. Olberding officiating and Hall FuneralHome, Bismarck, in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the churchcemetery. Pallbearers were Kenneth Wolbaum, Carter Jangula, Baltzer Weigel,John and Joseph Bosch and Alois Jangula. (Obituary taken from Emmons CountyRecord)
