Christina Miller was born April 15, 1920, a daughter of John and Christine (Dexheimer) Miller, in Devils Lake. Her father died when she was 2 years old, and from the age of 11, she was raised by Sebastian and Mary Kuntz. (Not sure how the following fit in if they were biological brothers and sister or from foster parents or a combination of both) Those who shared in her life: son, John (Gail) Mattern, Minot; daughter, Marie (Albert) Galipeau, Chepachet, R.I.; six grandchildren, Jim Mattern, Samantha Mattern, Jewell Mattern, Brian Galipeau, Bruce Galipeau, Darryl Galipeau; five great-grandchildren; brother, Curt Hasse, Devils Lake; sister, Eugenia Hintz, Del City, Okla.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Christina was preceded in death by her parents; her foster parents; husband; two brothers, Anton and George; and three sisters, Katie, Theresa and Cecilia.
