Notes for Angeline "Angie" O. VOLK


Angeline "Angie" Ottilia Power, 80, passed away October 4 in Sacramento in the
presence of her beloved family.

She was born in Rugby, ND, May 10, 1942, to Elizabeth Kuntz and Casper Volk.

Angie was married to Gerald "Jerry" R. Power (d. 2014) for 49 years. She
resided primarily in Vacaville, also spending a number of years in
Tacoma/Lakewood, WA.

She is survived by sons, Joe Power (Mary Jane); Doug Power; and Rich Power
(Megan); six grandchildren, Emily Haworth, Katelyn Power, and Abigail Power
(Joe/Mary Jane), Aysia Power and Dylan Power (Doug), Adelie Power
(Rich/Megan); sister Carol Shuler (Bill) and brother Joe Volk (Judy)

Angie's service will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 350 Stinson Ave,
Vacaville at 10:00am on October 26th. Light refreshments will follow in the
parish hall.

Angie will be buried with her husband, Jerry, at the Sacramento Valley
National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon. Family and friends are invited to
gather at the cemetery just before 1:15pm for sharing goodbyes and a final
blessing.

Notes for Angelo VOLK


He began military service on 25 Jun 1905 at Bemidji, Crow Wing, MN, First
Sergeant, 13th US Regular Infantry.  Spent two years at  Fort McKinley under
General Pershing.  Fought against Villa in Mexico in 1910.  He ended military
service on 26 Jun 1911 at Hot Wells, TX.
