this is what I know about me g.g.grandmother Perpetua Volk. Perpetua Volk was married in the first marriage to Franz Dettling and lived with him in Mannheim. Franz Dettling, my g.g.grandfather had an accident and died. Perpetua Volk went back to Neu-Elsass to her parents (Andreas Volk and Marzelina Nikolas Volk) and here my g. grandfather Joseph Dettling was born. Perpetua Volk had later married a Biegler, who was to that time also a widower with a daughter. My g.grandfather ( Joseph Dettling) grow up at his grandparents(Andreas and Marzelina Volk) and married Eleonore Vetsch from Neu-Baden.
